What centralised QC actually means
One approved sample and size-set as the reference; documented material and colour approval; inline inspection during production; final inspection before shipment; and reports flowing to one accountable coordinator.
The economics of prevention
Fact: inspection and sampling add cost to a project. Opinion: for any programme beyond a single small order, prevention is cheaper than remediation — rejected or reworked bulk costs more than the entire QC process many times over.
